stGood demonstration. Those BUBBLES have caused students to fail the IV PUSH STATION.
TO AVIOD FAILING; IT IS CRUCIAL TO DOUBLE CHECK THOSE BUBBLES AGAIN AT THE EXACT TIME YOU WILL BE ATTACHING THEM TO THE IV SITE.I KNOW YOU HAVE CHECKED IT AND HAVE SHOWN IT TO THE CE; SHOWING TO THE CE DOES NOT MEAN THER IS NO BUBBLES; SHE /HE WILL JUST LOOK AT IT AND WAIT TILL YOU ARE ABOUT TO FLUSH BFORE HE/SHE STOPS YOU AND FAIL YOU
AS A PREVENTIVE MEASSURE ; DOUBLE CHECK THOSE BUBBLES AGAIN BEFORE U ATTACHED IT TO THE IV LOCK ON PATIENT'S HAND; THAT IS THE STAGE THE CE WILL STOP U AND FAIL U
MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK THERE IS NO BUBBLES AGAIN BEFORE YOU ATTACH IT TO THE IV SITE. YOU WILL SAY NO BUBBLES AGAIN; SHOW IT TO THE CE AGAIN.AND THEN CONTINUE TO ATTACH IT TO THE IV SITE.
AFTER YOU ATTACH IT THEN YOU WIL SAY FIRST FLUSH- ASPIRATING FO
THE CE MUST NOT ONLY SEE YOU ASPIRATING FOR BLOOD BUT MUST ALSO HEAR YOU SAY IT. BLOOD. NO BLOOD ; NOW IAM FLUSHING
